Announcing the completion of the Ludwig Glaeser Special Collection at the GSAPP Slide & Video Library! We have completed the digitization of the 35mm slide collection of Ludwig Glaeser, curator of architecture at the Museum of Modern Art, and father of economist and urban theorist Edward Glaeser. The original slides, organized by topic, as well as the digital images can be viewed in the Slide Library during open hours. The collection consists of over 1200 images of Modern architecture (including large sections on Le Corbusier and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe), the Bauhaus, De Stijl, Constructivism, and the Vienna Secession. The collection was donated to GSAPP in 2008 and is now available for viewing for the first time. Image: Gottfried Bohm, Bensberg Town Hall, 1962.
